At left is a mudflow following the course of the creek. One of a collection of 35mm color slides taken by Steve Raymond, that document the aftermath of the volcanic eruption of Mount St. Helens in Washington State. Raymond was given special access to the volcano and recovery zone in May 1981 to prepare a story for Sports Illustrated.
