Bellingham executives, January 25, 1956

Back caption: "Top notch big execs of Bellingham. Jan 25, 1956." Sixteen men wearing suits and boutineers are posed behind a banquet table. On the wall behind them is a mural that depicts industrial features along a line (proposed oil pipeline?) that leads from Anacortes' Shell Oil Refinery to Ferndale's Mobile Refinery, across the Canadian border, a spur going to a refinery at Burnaby, then through Kamloops, through Jasper, and ending in the Edmonton, Alberta, Oil Fields. Conrad Barker, treasurer Morse Hardware Company; 9 David Ireland, Ireland and Bellingham Insurance; 10. Ken Ireland of Ireland and Bellingham Insurance; 11. Harry Heal; 12. unknown; 13. Lawson Turcotte, President of Puget Sound Pulp and Timber; 14. Stanley Tarrant of Pacific American Fisheries (PAF); 15. Carl Campbell, manager of J. C. Penny Co. in Bellingham.
