Gaudette Estate
Back caption: "Gaudette Estate" and "Lumberman's Estate, 2736 Eldridge Ave." Edmond Gaudette, successful lumberman, came to New Whatcom in 1889 from Ludington, MI. He eventually bought out old Stimson Logging Co. He died in 1916 leaving an estate of over $1,000,000. His widow died in 1926; the residence was vacant until 1936 when it's address disappears from the Bellingham (WA) City Directory.
