Exterior of defensive block house at Fort Bellingham

Caption written on back of photo reads:"Fort Bellingham Block House built by Capt. Pickett's troops in 1856. Mrs. Edward Edson, [and an address]." The structure is very unique in that the second level is set upon the first level at an odd angle.
