Postcard photo of Columbia Valley School with students and teacher standing on steps
Sign in gable says: No. 67 -- 19 Columbia Valley 19. On reverse in ink: "1914." Snow is on the ground. According to sheet attached the teacher pictured is Ellen Booman Nelson who began teaching there in 1912. Accoring to "Reflections from the Heart of a Small Community" this was the second Columbia Valley school built, in 1913; it was used until 1941. See also photo GB2250, GB2252.
