The double-masted, single smokestack, fishing steamer "Kingfisher" with fourteen men standing on deck, some in workers' clothes…

In 1916 the "Kingfisher' was sold by New England Fish Co. to Coastwise Steamship & Barge Co. to carry copper ore from British Columbia to Tacoma. An address label affixed to the back: "Roland G. Gamwell, 1001 Sixteenth Street, Bellingham, Washington."
