A large group (ca. 85) men, women and children at a plumber's event
The following men are identified: Front row, first and second on the left: "Sam Myers, Art Blythe" Second row, second from the right: "Hans Thiel" Third row, second from the right: Jim Mc Elmond [sic]" Back row, sixth from left: "Haskel [sic]" and eighth from left: "Chip Groom" According to the 1918 Bellingham City Directory, all were plumbers except ChipGroom who owned a hardware business. This is likely a plumbers' convention or special gathering. All are well dressed, the women wearing hats and long coats, then men hats and three piece suits. Several men and women wear rectangular badges pinned to their clothes. Caption on front top in ink: "About 1918"
