The following men are identified: Front row, first and second on the left: "Sam Myers, Art Blythe" Second row, second from the right: "Hans Thiel" Third row, second from the right: Jim Mc Elmond [sic]" Back row, sixth from left: "Haskel [sic]" and eighth from left: "Chip Groom" According to the 1918 Bellingham City Directory, all were plumbers except ChipGroom who owned a hardware business. This is likely a plumbers' convention or special gathering. All are well dressed, the women wearing hats and long coats, then men hats and three piece suits.
