Caption on front in ink: "Boston-Okanogan Apple Co. Shipping Shed at Malott" and "Photo by Simmer" Stamped on reverse: "Phone 1742 - Simmer Studio - Wenatchee, Wash." Long, horizontal, one story shed with thirteen small cupolas on its roof, with railroad tracks and three rail cars in front; two of the rail cars are labeled "Western Fruit Express," the other "Refrigerator" Men stand in two of the cars,on the porch of the shed, and in a truck parked between the tracks. Low hills with scrubby pines rise behind the shed. Malott, WA is an unincorporated community in Okanogan County located on the west bank of the Okanogan River with bridge access to Route 97. It is 9 miles SW of Okanogan, WA. See also photo gb3575.
