On verso of image: FALL 1971 Target--Brickwork is progressing over the steel frame of Western Washington State College's new eight-story student apartment building under construction on the southern perimeter of the campus. The $3,850,000 structure will house 400 male and female single students at the college next fall. In a departure from more traditional dormitory housing, the '71 Housing will have individual living and cooking quarters with two to four students sharing apartment units. Public Information Office.
