Caption on back: "Bucket used to go from Mill to Red Mt. Mine" and "Mrs. Hipkoe." The Red Mt.Gold Mine (Boundary Red) was located on the northeast face of Red Mountain, directly above Silesia Creek and the Chilliwack River in Canada. The mine was at 4050 feet and operated from 1914 until 1938. The mill buildings were eventually destroyed by avalanches in the 1940's.
