Description
-
The white house on the left side of the image belonged to the cannery superintendent. The small structure barely visible behind its chimney was the superintendent's radio shack, and behind that was a house used by the winter watchman. The building to the right of the superintendent's house was a bunk house. To the right of that was a warehouse that also contained the main PAF office, and behind the warehouse building was another bunkhouse. The large structure towards the top left corner of the image was the cookhouse, and the white roof visible behind that was part of a building housing dining areas, food storage, and laundry facilities.
