Don't Underestimate the Power of Nature
This picture was taken during a sailing route between St. Barths and out next destination, after an incredible rain storm. The rain was comparable to buckets of water, and the splashed of salt water were unavoidable. This experience was one that I could truly say felt spiritual as we glided past islands at a time. As soon as the cloud dumped what felt like all the water they could hold, the sun broke through the clouds and my exhausted body for counteracting the nature with our sails, collapsed on the Bow and soaked up the sun. now looking straight up at the mast, the sails were perfectly caught by the wind and the sun was stunningly tucked behind the reaming rain clouds. But in this shot, hides a small little silver lining gradient, and in this single shot, my whole experience seems captured in time.
