Caption at bottom is partially legible and reads: "Tulip Festival...May 9-10-...Clyde Banks Photo." Included is a letter that identifies this as the Lincoln School's entry, the "Turkish Queen" float. The "queen" is Geneil Wasel Chevalier, who was a first grader at Lincoln school at the time. The boy who looks at the camera is Louis Turner, who was a sixth grader at the time and later became County Assessor. Photo taken at the corner of Commercial and Holly streets, Bellingham, WA.
