The proposed amendments to the bylaws of the constitution approved by the board of control were presented to the forum. A motion was made that the amendments be accepted without alteration. Motion seconded, past. Candidates for student and faculty representative were presented to the student body. Meeting adjourned. ROBERT WAGNER, secretary. 20th meeting of the associated students of the Bellingham state normal school November 19, 1926. Meeting called to order by the president George ALLEZ. Minutes of the last meeting read and approved. An increase in the price of the 1927 KLIPSUN was proposed and explained by Edward ALF, business manager for the KLIPSUN. Discussion and further reasons for the increase were made by SVERRE ARESTAD, ex-business manager. Ballots were submitted to students for vote. Unanimous vote decided that the December and March graduates should buy KLIPSUNS, and that the price of the KLIPSUN should be raised 50 cents. Honor system discussed. Motion made that a committee consisting of faculty members and students be appointed to investigate the principles of the honor system and its success in other schools. Motion seconded and passed. Motion made and seconded that a committee be appointed to investigate the feasibility of having a voting machine brought to the school for student elections. Motion lost. Announcement was made of an auction to be held for the purpose of raising funds for the Red Cross. Meeting adjourned. Theodore CEDERBERG, secretary.
