Picture of the first fire house in Fairhaven. The top of this building was used as a fire house, and the bottom was used as a jail. But this was not the first jail - there was anothe one located at the foot of Harris Avenue. This jail was formerly used as Barge and was washed up on the beach. The building in the picture is located on Donavon [sic] across from the Mayflower at the end of the bridge.
