Back caption: "Lottie on Peanuts - taken in front of the old house (Capt. Roeder's old house) on Elm St. She was about a yr 1/2 old. House in background where Lottie & Charles Roth lived before moving into Roeder mansion." Lottie Roeder Roth was born October 25, 1864. She married C. I. Roth in 1885. Her two volume "History of Whatcom County" was published in 1926.
