My Werewolf Boyfriend
There are novels that feature gay characters, Lao-American characters, werewolves and other speculative fiction elements, literary fiction elements, humor, and eroticism, but it's questionable how many novels feature all of these different genres and topics. 'My Werewolf Boyfriend' is a novel encompassing all of these ideas in one piece. The novel seeks to represent gay, Southeast Asian characters in a positive light along with presenting non-heteronormative and non-monogamous relationships in the same way while also teaching those outside of queer and Southeast Asian identities something new. The novel also contains comedy and explicit erotic scenes to show queer joy and that literary elements can work with genre fiction. 'My Werewolf Boyfriend' is also a work that hopes to show queer, Asian-Americans that they aren't alone in the world.
