Movements in air conditioning
Movements in Air Conditioning is a collection of poems that explores the obstacles inherent in creating a new sense of home in a country that is far from familiar. Divided into four sections, this collection investigates the dense history of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the compassion and inclusiveness of the modern family, the struggle to demonstrate personal and professional relevance, and finally what lingers after the Westerner's exodus.
