Tacoma-Pierce County Health Dept Intern
My duty as an intern was to act almost like a pilot case, where my experiences would shape the procedures and resources of future interns. This mainly tied into my first two projects: the creation of a document detailing my experiences on job shadow events, and research into the employee handbooks of other organizations so as to help in the creation of one for the TPCHD. The majority of my work was performed remotely, although I did help with a few in-person events like their Thanksgiving celebration.
