An Odyssey into Creative Writing (As an Engineer)
The aim of this project is to explore the overlap between creative writing skills and engineering skills. This consists of research and formal analysis on a particular literary device (the depiction of nuclear weapons both directly as well as indirectly through metaphor), the creation of a short story using the ideas discovered in the research, and a short meta-analysis on how an engineering skill set applies to a creative writing project.
