The wooden Pacific American Fisheries (PAF) steamship Oakwood, built at PAF shipyard at Deadmans Point and sold to French interests in 1918. South Hill is in the background and Lowell School and Reid Boilerworks stand out. Another unidentified ship is adjacent to the Oakwood. See also photo 2191.
