Intersection of Harrist Avenue and 11th Street, Fairhaven, Bellingham, Washington
Accompanying text: "Galen Biery Photograph. The Blondin Block [now demolished] at the corner of Harris and 11th St. The Morgan Building, which appears to be attached, is still standing. 1935." The photo was taken later than indicated on card: a sign hanging from the apparently-vacant Blondin Block reads: "...n's Tavern." From 1925 to 1941 this was a tavern belonging to the widow Anne Beard and named Beard's Tavern. In Polk's 1942 directory, Anne Beard is manager of Don's Tavern at this location. Edward G. Sutterlein did business as Don's Tavern through 1947.
