The steamer "Marguerite" wrecked at Langtree Point, Lake Whatcom
Back caption: "Wreck of Marguerite - Lake Whatcom -1907. Wash. Langtree Point." The Lake Whatcom steamboat "Marguerite," built in 1898 in Olympia, WA, for F.G. Deming, ran on the rocks at Langtry Point in a fog, February 12, 1907, sinking by the stern so rapidly that her passengers had a narrow escape, being rescued by the "Elsinore."
