Studio portrait of E.B. Deming
Back caption: "E.B. Deming. Pres. PAF." Formal photograph of Everett Brainard Deming, taken shortly the end of his career at Pacific American Fisheries. Deming was born in St. Louis in 1860; he took over PAF in 1900, was fired in 1901 and reinstated 1905. He died in 1942. He has been referred to as the soul of PAF.
