Three old timers of Kasaan who worked at the Kasaan Cannery
Note: "Three old timers of Kasaan who worked at the Kasaan Cannery. L-R: Frank Ford, Louie Thompson, Felix Young." Kasaan Cannery operated from 1902-1953 on Prince of Wales Island, Kasaan, Alaska. Pacific American Fisheries purchased Kasaan Cannery in 1930. Kasaan Cannery was notorious for fires. PAF built steel cannery buildings after the last fire. Cannery buildings and property were purchased by Kavilco, the Kasaan vilage corporation, in 1974 and dismantled in 1980.
