Caption: "Photo: Stenton. Becks Opera House/ 2200 seats." Opened in December 1902 to great acclaim, Beck's Opera House on Dock Street (now Cornwall) was built for $152,000 by Jacob Beck and was called the most adequately staged playhouse west of Chicago.
