Wooden stern-wheeler "Fairhaven" with several peole on deck moves through water with forested hills in background
The Fairhaven measured 130' x 26.5' and was built in 1889. She first was owned by the La Conner Trading & Transportation Co. and ran daily from Seattle to Whidbey and La Conner with stops in Everett twice a week. In 1906 she was bought by Island Transportation Co. and ran from Seattle to Anacortes. Was badly damaged in 1907 in a wind storm while attempting to dock at Coupville. Photo is pasted on page of photograph album with GB2384 and GB2385. GB2380-GB2392 are all in the same album.
