Andrew Loft, railway conductor, in his uniform, sitting at desk with slide projector
Andrew Loft was the conductor on the Electric Interurban that ran between Bellingham and Mt. Vernon, WA, from 1912 to 1931. Service was hourly; there were 20 stops; trains ran up to 65 mph. The same photograph appears in "Looking Back," by Dorothy Koert and Galen Biery.
