Jacob Beck was the owner of the Grand View Hotel (Beck's Hotel) at Holly and Dock (Cornwall) Streets, Beck's Theatre at 1310-1316 Dock Street (when founded in 1902 was known as the most adequately staged playhouse west of Chicago), and Beck's Whatcom Brewery, Whatcom County, WA.
