A stand alone Safeway store with adjacent parking lot and two cars parked in front of the store.
Trolley tracks run in street in front of the store. At various times between the 1930s and 1950 there were Safeway stores at 104-106 E. Magnolia, 2500 Elm, 1518 Cornwall, 800-802 Dupont, and 600 E. Holly; later there was one on Telegraph across from the Bellis Fair mall. This may be the Cornwall store since there was a trolley line on Cornwall and the Sanborn Map shows a parking lot adjacent to 1518 Cornwall.
