Aerial view of the Pacific American Fisheries (PAF) complex in Fairhaven at the foot of Harris Avenue. Several buildings have "P.A.F." painted in white on their roofs.
Caption on reverse in pencil: "Probably 1948" and stamped on reverse: "Jacobson's Studio - Bellingham, Wash." Fishing boats are docked there and lumber floats in a boom the water beyond. The railroad tracks run diagonally across the photo from south to north. Beyond the tracks South Hill and Fairhaven are visible. Also visible is part of the plane carrying the photographer.
