Stickney Island Indian School Lynden
Caption on reverse in ink: "Stickney Island Indian School Lynden" and on address label in lower left corner: "Mrs. Edward Edson - 312 Mount Baker Apts. - Bellingham, Washington" Group of about thirty-five children and adults assembled on the front steps of a white clapboard, three story, single gabled building. Three two over two windows are on the second floor; two on the third and two plus the front door are on the first floor. A flagpole with a flag rises from the roof over the front entrance. A wooden fence is in the foreground; a barn is to the left and back of the school building. The students wear light colored clothing; the adults are dressed in black.
