Settlement (probably Sedro) with eight storefronts in a line, amidst stumps and dirt paths
Forest is to the left and behind the buildings. There are two restaurants, a hotel, the Snug Saloon, Sedro Mercantile; American flags fly over two of the buildings - the hotel and probably the courthouse (although it is not legibly identified). A long tent-like structure is across from the restaurants; a fenced in paddock with a small shed enclosed is in the foregroud. One person is visible, riding in a wagon near the tent-like structure; a few others stand or sit in front of the storefronts. Behind the storefronts two houses are visible. Probably early Sedro Woolley before the two towns were combined.
