Launching of the S.S. Hollywood, Bellingham
Caption on front in ink: "Launching S.S. Hollywood - P.A.F. S.Yd. Bellingham, Wn. 10-29-17." and "Steen's" A large crowd of men, women and children watch the launch of the PAF steamship Hollywood from the Deadman's/Commercial Point Shipyard. A band is standing on a platform to the left of the ship; dignitaries stand at the base of the bow; a photographer stands on the roof of a building on the right side of the photo. The Hollywood was built to carry supplies and crews to and from Alaska for PAF but by 1918 it was sold to French interests. Caption on reverse in ink: "From Tom Morgan"
