Looking down on several buildings, seven ships at dock and one in dry dock, and a large log boom filled with logs. In the lower left of the photo is a horizontal building with "Port of Bellingham Web House" written on its roof and "Web House" written on the end of the building. On the opposite side of Roeder Avenue there are fuel tanks and beyond them, railroad tracks. Above the tracks in the far left background is Eldridge Avenue with four houses visible. The must be approximately where Bellingham Cold Storage is today. The ships are numbered: 452, 451, 134, 235, 453, 454. (Two are not legible) They may be Coast Guard or Navy vessels, although aside from their numbers they do not have distinguishable markings.
