Under glaze blue decoration, outside overlapping octagonal circles, with 7 dots inside, 3.5 circles down. Bottom shoulder has 9 painted panels of 3 scrolls divided by painted blades. Inside around lip: blue painted Chinese characters. Scrolled vine around bowl side. Blue painted band circling scrolled medallion on bottom. Tan body. Broken and amended with chipped lip Image captured with Canon PowerShot SD900, June-August 2008 (JPEG format, resolution 96 dpi), edited using Adobe PhotoShop 7.0. These jpegs were resaved in tiff format in November 2020, prior to upload to WWU’s MABEL/Islandora platform.
