Multiple, small cream or tan colored shells. Slipper shells living on smooth surfaces have smooth shells, when slipper shells live on rough surfaces they will grow a rough shell. The slipper shell, introduced into oyster beds, robs the oysters of food and choke the besides. Lives on old shells.
