Careful planning by a committee of college faculty and staff working in cooperation with the architects resulted in efficient space utilization. Even such details such as selection of chairs received careful consideration. Light-weight, flexible seats used throughout the building are comfortable and exceptionally durable as they are able to absorb the constant stresses of continued use."

Water, natural gas and air are also supplied via similar centralized systems."
