- According to "Great Pacific American Fisheries...(II.A.4)" this was the second office building of the P.A.F., originally constructed for the Alsop Meat Market. - The women are holding a copy of the Puget Sound Mail newspaper with the headline "New Captain Old Crew - The Ancient Ship Sails On" They are probably in front of the Puget Sound Mail office since "..ET and S" are visible on the window behind the man on the right. The two men in the middle look like brothers; one wears a stained apron; the women wear aprons also. The man on the right wears a dark sports jacket, turtleneck and pants. The other two men wear plaid shirts and jeans; the man on the left has a cigar in his mouth. Stamped on reverse: "Art Hupy - This Photograph Not To Be Reproduced Without Permission Of The Photographer - 2036 N.E. 98th Seattle Wash. 98115 - LA 2-HUPY" See also photo gb3339. The unidentified man on the left in photo gb3590 is sitting at a cluttered desk reading a copy of the Puget Sound Mail likely with the same headline as appears in this photo.
