- Elizabeth Park, Bellingham (Wash.)
- Date
- 1880-1960
- Description
- Caption on reverse in ink: "Elizabeth Park. Bellingham, Wash." Taken at the edge of a lagoon with an elaborate statue, the Haller Fountain, in the middle and cattails growing in the water in the foreground. Appears to be looking northwest, with Walnut Street houses on the left and Washington Street houses on the right in the background. There are several young trees. In the left foreground an edge of the bandstand is visible. Elizabeth Park is the oldest park in Bellingham, located on land donated by Henry Roeder. It first appeared as land reserved as a public park in 1884 but was not officially named Elizabeth Park, in honor of Elizabeth Roeder, until 1912. Prior to 1912 it was known as Walnut Street Park. Park Commissioner Roland Gamwell was in charge of the development of the park.

- An unidentified early two story house made of rough boards with mortar in between them.
- Date
- 1880-1960
- Description
- There is a simple porch in front with two windows on the first level and two on the second. There are three six over one windows on the side, first level and two smaller six pane windows on the second level. A one story added room juts off the rear right side with a door and a four pane window on its side. In the front corner about two thirds of the way up there is a box or cloth covering the corner that says "...Wheat Mixed Feed..." probably covering up a hole in the wood siding. There is a small fenced enclosure on the side, probably for chickens. The house appears to be by itself in a field with barren trees beyond it. Its shingle roof and chimney appear in good repair. Bears a resemblance to the Pickett house but the setting is wrong and the house is not quite the same footprint.
