Description

Back caption: "This picture was taken July or August 1897 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Watkins at Geneva, Lake Whatcom, Wash. We had enjoyed a lovely ride on a gaily decorated barge towed by a small steamer, to the head of the Lake and returned. Family refreshments were served and all entertainment was beautifully arranged. We have lovely memories of a very pleasant day - now at this time - Mar. 1 - 1930." Also: "1-Marguerite Black (Chuckie); 2-Mrs. A.
