- Large camera on tripod on display
- Date
- 1941-07-03
- Description
- Caption on reverse: "This is a view of the latest camera I made. It has 3 different backs, one for full 5 x 7 pictures, one for 2 on a plate or 3 x 5 pictures and another sliding back for 4 on a plate. I've been shooting with it for about 2 weeks, and so far haven't missed on but one negative. This tripod is an old one, but I still like the vise idea for clamping the camera on, instead of fooling with a bolt. Notice the fancy handle on top. It may look goofy, but it's the handiest handle you ever saw!" Stamped in ink: "Jul 3 1941" Presumably written by Galen Biery. See also photo GB2316.

- Description
- Caption on reverse: "This is another view of my latest camera, showing the focussing lever, clamping arrangement, and also the cable connecting the shutter pin to the back. This cable idea permits faster operation...as immediately upon withdrawing the plateholder the shutter opens for focussing, and upon inserting the holder for the next picture the shutter automatically closes. This camera will focus on anything from 3 ft. to infinity, but one drawback is its weight; it weighs 12 lbs." Stamped in ink: "Jul 3 1941" Presumably written by Galen Biery. See also photo GB2317.
