Our last official evening together as a group landed on the very special evening - Kioni's Paniyiri or town festival. A stage was built, the dancing circle cleared, food prepared, and lots of seating for the bustling, wildly entertaining evening of feasting on great food, dancing with the whole town, and laughing together. It was a wonderful way to say goodbye to the little village that we all fell in love with and to each other, after forming a close-knit bond in a short amount of time.
