Description: This photo was taken during my Fall Break. Copenhagen was one of the most exciting and beautiful places I visited. My ISEP friend from Virginia and I had taken a canal tour, and when we got off, there were all these colorful buildings lining the water. It was freezing cold, but we had to keep stopping to take pictures of all of it.

The people of Kioni are warm and welcoming, always greeting you with a "Kalimera!" and smiles. The awe-inspiring beauty in simplicity is found every where you go, and it is clear why Odysseus made his famous journey back to his island of Ithaca.

Title: Like Wind in My Sails

Description: This photo was taken after an exam aboard a 45 foot catamaran as I was studying marine biology in the caribbean. Our academics were based around the marine ecosystems that we encountered through out daily diving. It seems that it would be hard to study on a boat while sailing island to island, but as you are surrounded by the nature you are so passionate about, it becomes like second nature to want to know more and more. Not only did we learn about specific marine life and global ecosystems, we learned to sail and sustain ourselves on a sail boat for a month. This humbling experience is one that is hard to articulate, but know that I have a smile on my face the whole time I am writing this.
