Description: This picture was taken in City Bell, Argentina. It is the town that my mother grew up in before moving to the United States at 16. Today we still have family living there and I am pictured with my great aunt Blanca, who I surprised when I showed up at her doorstep after not seeing her for five years. She could not believe I had come all that way to study and live so near to her (I'm an hour train ride away). It was hard to keep the secret since it took months of planning but it was worth it!

She was one of the students that came to our after-school tutoring program, and always had the biggest smile on her face. Her smile was contagious and reminded me that happiness should always be our number one priority above all else.

Description: This was when my program took us on a boat tour along the river of Paris and my friend looked at the Eiffel Tower through the window as we passed it. I feel this photograph depicts my talent because it's all about the perspective. I wanted to show the perspective of what it's like looking up at the Eiffel Tower and to feel as though you were looking through her eyes. It's a famous monument I had only ever seen in movies and seeing it in person was surreal. This picture captured a moment where my friend was taking it all in.
