- It was the moment I saw the "umbrella street" that I fell in love with the little town of Blagoevgrad where my host university is. When I arrived, it didn't feel like a very developed town and there was lots of graffiti everywhere that I wasn't used to, and that I thought affected the look of the town. The first weekend though, I went shopping and turned to walk down the main street when I had to stop and take in the fun, colorful, and whimsical umbrellas that lined the street spanning the whole town. It was completely unexpected, and at the same time, the perfect touch.

- I took this photo through my umbrella looking up at Tokyo Skytree. I thought it was incredible how it faded into the clouds because of how tall Skytree is. Skytree is the tallest building in Japan.
