- Two weeks into my international internship, I had the opportunity to visit a small mountain village known as Santa Felix and tried paragliding for the first time. In a way, I liken paragliding to the study/intern abroad experience as a whole. The prospect of doing it is intimidating, perhaps even a little frightening. Yet once you take the plunge, you’ll find yourself floating blissfully through the sky, having the time of your life, and seeing the world from a perspective that you never would have been able to if you hadn't taken a chance.
