Birdseye view of Bellingham Bay and waterfront from atop Sehome Hill with North Garden Street running along bottom foreground
The tide is out, showing the Whatcom Creek estuary on the right side of the image. The railway curving north across the water is the Great Norther Railroad which was removed between 1913 and 1925. The two long docks that cross with the GNRR are C and G streets. The stnaking path in lower left corner is part of a planked and elevated roadway that connected the Sehome Docks with Ivy Street.
